Natalie is an instructional designer driven by a deep curiosity for the world. She comes from a background in writing and earned her M.S. in Technical Communication from Northeastern University in 2021. She has extensive experience in the building automation sector, including: access control and security, hvac, fire, and air quality.
She is passionate about delving deep into complex topics, and synthesizing information into beautiful, direct, and genuine human language. She believes that learning occurs only when curiosity meets love for other people.
In June 2026, she completed a certificate in Documentary Filmmaking at Olympic College in Bremerton, WA, where she premiered her first short documentary, "Barner," a film about the intersection of historical infrastructure, nature, and stewardship, which received the 2026 Borderlands Project award.
She has traveled the globe to promote, train, and research stories and projects. Since 2024, she has lived and worked from her custom van, which she built.
